KURRIIZMATIC

Vogue Italia - Vancouver Fashion Week

From April 12 to April 16, the new edition of the Vancouver Fashion Week, the second most important fashion week in North America. The intent of this event is clear and is also proposed in this new season: to support emerging designers from Vancouver, together with international brands from numerous countries around the world, offering them visibility within their platform. For the autumn winter 2023-24 season there were a total of five days during which the new generation creatives took turns showing all their talent on the catwalk. One of the main aspects that distinguishes this important international event is the ability to include, in a completely harmonious and natural way, all the nuances of creativity, be they more eccentric and eclectic or the result of the reworking of more canonical traditions. In this way, therefore, the spectators were able to enjoy a real multicultural and global show.

So he paraded a sophisticated alternation between whites and blacks with the designer's collection Neithan Herbert inspired by cancer, its zodiac sign, but also the experimental works and dedicated to the environmental responsibility of Kurriizmatic is PCYCL; or even an exploration of cultural roots with collections of designers such as Tur wax is Devyani Mehrotra. More playful and light collections have also been joined by avant-garde and conceptual creations such as that of Tsuzumi Futamata, but also a modern and contemporary reinterpretation of high fashion with the fluffy and hyperdecorated garments of Rolla Summers. These are just a few examples of the many designers from Canada and around the world who presented their ideas and talent for the next winter season during the five days of Vancouver Fashion Week. The Canadian platform has proven capable once again, to intercept the most interesting talents on the international scene by exposing their great skills through their channels in order to increase their sales and success possibilities.
